To be able to use SpeakOn's TuneIn Radio task, you need first to go to the TuneIn Radio website and obtain a username and password. These are free; you do not need to pay a subscription.

The registration pages are accessible with screen readers. The website layout changes from time to time; at the time of writing (February 2013) it was as follows:
When you enter the TuneIn Radio website, look for the 'Sign up' link. This link takes you to the signing up page where you can sign up with Google, Facebook or by email. If you decide to sign up by email it takes you to another page where you need to specify your email password and other information. Be careful to specify your password correctly as unlike similar registration procedures, you are only required to specify the password once. Make sure that you select your country - this is important so that your local stations are displayed correctly in SpeakOn. You can change many of your details later if you make a mistake. Finally go to the 'Sign up now' link to finish your registration.
You can now close your internet browser - you do not need to access the website to use the TuneIn Radio task in SpeakOn.
After you have registered your username and password, you need to configure SpeakOn as follows:
First start SpeakOn. In the Manager's Available media list control, you will find the TuneIn Radio task. Select it and the TuneIn Radio task will start. You will be able to browse and search for stations but you will not be able to browse your local stations or use presets until you specify your username and password. Note that at the time of writing this manual your email address is your username.

In the TuneIn Radio task, press the 'Menu' [Alt] (9) key to open the Main menu. Select:
Settings > TuneIn Radio Login Information menu item.
The TuneIn Radio Login Information task starts and you are placed in the Username Edit control.
Having already specified the username (email address) and password to TuneIn Radio on their website, type your username in the Username Edit control. Press the 'Focus' [Tab] (3) key to move the focus to the Password Edit control and type your password.
End the TuneIn Radio login task in the usual way by pressing the 'Menu' [Alt] (9) key. You are placed in the End task, return to Manager menu item.
Press the 'Select' key. The TuneIn Radio task ends and you are placed back in the Manager task. This step is required to make sure that the login information you have specified takes effect. You can restart the TuneIn Radio task in the usual way as explained earlier in this page.
You are now ready to enjoy listening to TuneIn Radio stations and shows in SpeakOn.
