Alphanumeric input spell check dictionary manager

The 'Alphanumeric input' feature's goal is primarily to enable efficient typing in SpeakOn with touch devices that do not contain a Standard keyboard.

The 'Alphanumeric input spell check dictionary manager' task enables you to manage your Personal dictionary by adding and removing words. Note that this task is only available when the 'Alphanumeric input enabled' CheckBox is checked in the 'Alphanumeric input settings' task.

The 'Alphanumeric input spell check dictionary manager' task can be started from the Manager. Go to the Main menu by pressing the 'Menu' [Alt] (9) key. Select the
Tools > 'Alphanumeric input spell check dictionary manager' menu item and this task will start.

The 'Alphanumeric input practice' task contains two controls. When you start this task, the focus is placed at the first control; the 'New word' Edit control. You can move the focus between controls in the usual way by pressing the 'Focus' [Tab] (3) key.

The following controls are available:

'New word' Edit control

The purpose of this Edit control is to specify a new word to add to your Personal dictionary. Simply type the word you want to add and then bring up the Main menu by pressing the Menu [Alt] (9) key and select the 'Add word' menu item. If the word you typed is not already in either your Personal dictionary or the General English dictionary, the word is added to your Personal dictionary.

'Dictionary word' List control

The 'Dictionary word' List control contains a list of all the words in your Personal dictionary in alphabetical order. Use the [Up] (7) and [Down] (2) keys to browse the list. If you find a word you want to remove, bring up the Main menu by pressing the Menu key and select the 'Remove word in focus' menu item. The word in focus is deleted from your Personal dictionary.

When you have finished, bring up the Main menu by pressing the Menu key and select the 'End task' menu item to close this task.
