The following pages give additional information about the media directories available for mainstream media tasks in the Library.
This information includes details of the formats supported and the settings of the directories' locations. Additional information is not available in this section for the Tunein Radio task; all relevant information is included for these task in the Tutorial.
The term 'media directory' is described in Tutorial > Common Media Operations > Browsing the Library and finding media.
The following media directories features and settings are covered in this section : CD (Audio, MP3, DAISY), Music, Podcast and Other Media.
Most media directories will work with the default settings. Some may require manual settings that are not possible to configure automatically during installation. You need to specify these settings only once. Whenever you install or update to a new version of SpeakOn, the settings you specified previously are preserved.
